The Village
Stillington, five miles from Stockton developed in Victorian times around iron works. It is well served by local services, which include shops and a small industrial estate. Within the village there is a range of housing for the population of around 1000, some houses dating from Victorian times but many are post war. The settlement is surrounded by farmland.
The Hall
Built as a school in 1890 the hall is made of brick with a slate roof. The building is heated by gas fired central heating.
