The Village
Ingleby Barwick has roots in a Romano - British settlement and evidence of medieval mote and bailey castle has been found on the confluence of the Leven and the Tees. During the 1960s plans were agreed for extensive housing development in the area and the settlement now is home to around 15000 people
The Hall
Built in 1993, the hall is a purpose built community centre of brick and tile. The building is heated by electric storage heaters.
