The Village

Now a well-established village of 1000 people, Boosbeck was only a collection of scattered farms before the Ironstone Mines developed in the 1800s. The name means cowshed by the stream and the village is surrounded by farmland and rural areas.

The Hall

The Community Centre is purpose built and has been recently refurbished. It is heated by combi boiler gas central heating.

Regular activities include  

Over 40s, mother and toddlers, coffee mornings, learn direct computer classes.  Sure Start Learning bus (in the car park)
